About Us
Norwich Frostbite Sailing Club was founded in 1933 and is one of the oldest winter sailing clubs in the UK. Sailing takes place every Sunday morning between October and May with class and allcomers racing. The present fleet is comprised of Norfolk One-designs but we are very keen to extend this. Other boats, suited to river sailing are very welcome to take part.

Join Us
Membership of Norwich Frostbite Sailing Club is open to all and visitors are always welcome; if you are thinking about joining us, or would like to find out more, we invite you to come along and visit us on any Sunday during our winter season, which runs from mid October through to end of April each year. You’ll be most welcome to introduce yourself, talk to members and have a good look round. We have a comfortable (and warm!) clubhouse, directly overlooking the river. Our galley is open from 10:45 – 14:00 each race day where you can always get a hot drink and a snack.
If you do not have a boat there are opportunities to crew for other Club Members. And, for those new to sailing; we can arrange a taster sail for you with one of our members.
We look forward to meeting you soon
